In 2011, our founder tried to help her self-employed brother in Miami find a health plan after he left his W-2 job. Three agents quoted only Florida Blue. Healthcare.gov hid half the available networks. The cheapest plan locked him out of his cardiologist. After two weeks of phone calls he gave up and went uninsured for six months.
That experience built HealthFinder Hubs. Florida has the largest ACA marketplace in the country — and the most confusing private insurance landscape.
